Albuterol Side Effects
Although it doesn’t happen very often, albuterol may produce side effects in some cases. Fortunately, those side effects are not serious and you can treat them without any problems. Of course, do not forget to consult your doctor.
When they occur, albuterol side effects may include changes in heartbeat, headache, nose irritation, coughing; pain in muscles, insomnia, anxiety, nausea or vomiting and irritated throat. Since albuterol comes in several forms (there are several albuterol products), each of them has its own side effects. That means that the side effects we have just mentioned do not go all together or at the same time.
Side Effects of Albuterol
In some cases there can be side effects like headache, nausea, dizziness and sleeping disorders. Also, in some other cases there can be allergies and that’s when you should definitely go to see your doctor. Those allergies may occur in the form of rash, breathing difficulties, mouth swelling, lip and tongue swelling. One can also feel pain in his chest, severe headache, dizziness or serious breathing difficulties. Skin problems may also occur.
If you are using albuterol in the form of Albuterol/Ipratropium Aerosol, you may experience problems like coughing, mouth dryness, nausea, inflamed sinuses and throat soreness. In some cases there can also be heartbeat irregularities, arm or leg numbness, short breath and vomiting. If these symptoms become severe do not hesitate but see your doctor immediately.
If you are a consumer of Controlled-Release Albuterol tablets, you may experience insomnia, cramps in your muscles, changes in your energy levels and nausea. All these side effects can be accompanied by rash and breathing difficulties. Mouth, lip, tongue or face swelling may occur as well. When it comes to Extended-Release Tablets the symptoms are pretty much the same. Albuterol Solution may also cause similar effects and so as the syrup. As you can see, it doesn’t matter what kind of Albuterol product you use – side effects are similar and possible to occur.
