Doryx side effects will be described in the following article. Doryx is used in treating some bacterial infections, and it can also be used for prevention of malaria. Doryx belongs to the group of tetracycline antibiotics. It is effective in destroying various bacteria, but it cannot be used for viral infections. Doryx can be used in treating some skin conditions such as rosacea.

Doryx is taken on an empty stomach, by mouth. When we say “empty stomach”, it means two hours after having a meal, or one hour before having a meal. It is usually taken twice a day, but your doctor will give you the best advice on how to use Doryx. In case of a stomach upset, take Doryx with food. However, make sure you do not take this medication with foods that contain calcium. After taking Doryx, you should not lie down, for at least ten minutes.

If you are taking antacids, don’t forget to mention that to your doctor before you start taking this medication.

If used for malaria prevention, Doryx is taken only once a day. The first dose will have to be taken one or two days before traveling to the malarious area. You will have to continue to use Doryx there. When you return home, you will have to take Doryx for at least four weeks.

You must not chew or crush this medication. If you can’t swallow the capsule, you can open it and take it right away. You can break the tablet, but you have to take it right away. Do not mix this medication with foods, because this way Doryx will be released too soon, and this will lead to side effects. Have a glass of water after swallowing the tablet. The dosage will depend on your condition.

Doryx Side Effects

Most people do not experience any side effects. However, some people can experience side effects like:

● Diarrhea
● Stomach upset
● Nausea
● Vomiting

If you experience any of these side effects, contact your doctor right away.

Sensitivity to sun is rare, but it can occur. If you feel any changes in vision, headache and difficulty swallowing, contact your doctor right away.

Doryx can lead to serious intestinal condition, caused by resistant bacteria. It can cause severe diarrhea. However, you must not treat this condition on your own. Tell your doctor about this problem and ask for some therapy. If you see any blood in your stool and experience stomach cramping or pain, call your doctor.

Long-term use can lead to vaginal yeast infection and oral thrush. If you see any changes in vaginal discharge, contact your doctor right away.

Endometrial ablation side effects will be discussed in the following article. This procedure is done in order to remove the uterus lining. It is used in patients who have prolonged or excessive menstrual bleeding, but can’t have a hysterectomy (for any reason). Some women simply do not like the idea of having a hysterectomy, so they opt for endometrial ablation.

This procedure can be done by using laser beam, radiofrequency, microwave, electricity, and freezing.

This procedure usually lasts no more than 45 minutes. In most cases, a spinal or local anesthesia is used, but general anesthesia can also be used in some cases.

Side Effects of Ablation

After having this procedure, you can experience certain side effects, like:

● Nausea
● Cramping
● Frequent urination
● Vaginal discharge that contains blood

You will be allowed to go home shortly after the surgery, but you will need a couple of weeks to recover completely.

This surgery is done in cases when patients can’t have a hysterectomy, because of some medical problems, or in cases when patients simply do not want to have a hysterectomy.

After the surgery, menstrual flow will be reduced, and some women will not have periods at all. Younger women are likely to have periods after the ablation. In some cases, the procedure will have to be repeated.

After having this procedure, you will have to avoid having sex, and you will also have to avoid tampon use.

There are certain risks, when it comes to this procedure:

● Burns
● Infections
● Uterus perforation
● Arterial blood flow blockage in the lungs
● Fluid can occur inside the lungs

These complications are rare, but they can cause serious problems.

Women who have endometrial cancer should not undergo this procedure.

Women, who are planning to get pregnant some day, should not undergo this procedure. Endometrial ablation leads to sterility, because the uterus lining is destroyed.

Pregnancy can still be possible in some women, even after this procedure, but these pregnancies are very risky and often ended in miscarriage.

Cod liver oil side effects will be described here. Cod liver oil supplements are used in treating high triglycerides, high cholesterol levels in blood, kidney disease (in patients with diabetes), heart disease, hypertension, depression, osteoarthritis, glaucoma, and otitis media (infection of middle ear). It is believed to be helpful in repairing damaged nails and hair.

Cod Liver Oil Side Effects

This product seems to be quite safe. Side effects are rare and usually include:

● Belching
● Heartburn
● Nosebleeds
● Bad breath

However, if you take this product with food, you will avoid such side effects.

If taken in large amounts, this product can lead to bleeding, because it is used for blood clot prevention. Large doses can lead to loose stools and nausea.

Cod liver oil is very rich in vitamin A, so if you take too much, you may experience hypervitaminosis A. This can be harmful, so you should be very careful. In pregnant women, hypervitaminosis A can lead to birth defects.

We cannot say anything about the side effects when the product is used on the skin. This is yet to be determined.

We do not know much about the side effects of Cod liver oil during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, or you are a breast-feeding mother, you should not use this product.

This product can also affect your blood pressure. It makes the blood pressure lower, so you should be careful with it. Your blood pressure can get too low if you use this product with other medications for hypertension. Do not forget to tell your doctor if you use any other medications for high blood pressure.

Are there any interactions?

● Antihypertensive medications interact with this product.

● Cod liver oil interacts with medication like enalapril, diltiazem, captopril, hydrochlorothiazide, losartan, furosemide, valsartan, etc.

● Anticoagulant medications should not be used with Cod liver oil.

● Do not use Cod liver oil if you use any of the following medications: Anaprox, Fragmin, Plavix, Naprosyn, Motrin, Cataflam, Coumadin, Voltaren, Lovenox, and Advil.

Allergic reactions are very rare. However, if you have ever been allergic to any remedies or supplements, tell you doctor about it before you start using Cod liver oil.

Plan B pill side effects will be described in the following article. Plan B pills are used for emergency contraception, and they are used after having unprotected sex. It is also known as the pill for “morning after.” However, this does not mean you need to wait until the next morning; these pills will be more effective if you take them immediately.

When you buy Plan B pills, you get two pills: one is taken right away, and the other one is taken twelve hours later. The pills contain levonorgestrel in higher amounts than other contraceptive pills.

These pills delay (or completely prevent) ovulation; they can prevent the fertilization of a woman’s egg, or they can modify the uterus lining and prevent implantation.

These pills cannot lead to abortion or miscarriage; they will not work after the implantation has happened. Plan B can prevent pregnancy, but it cannot terminate it if you are already pregnant.

Plan B pills are effective up to 72 hours after having unprotected sex, but it will be much better to use these pills within 24 hours. However, these pills should not be used as regular birth control pills. Another very important thing to say is that Plan B pills will not provide any protection against various sexually transmitted diseases.

Plan B pills should not be used if you are already pregnant, or you are allergic to some of the components. If you have ever had problems with vaginal bleeding, talk to your doctor before you take Plan B pills.

If you use other medications, don’t forget to mention that to your doctor before you take Plan B pills.

Plan B Pill Side Effects

Most women never experience any side effects. However, some women can have:

● Fatigue
● Nausea
● Dizziness
● Abdominal pain
● Vomiting
● Menstrual changes
● Diarrhea
● Breast tenderness
● Headache

● Menstrual changes are possible, but these rarely cause serious problems. You can experience unexpected bleeding, but it is likely to stop before you get your normal period. In addition, your period can be lighter or heavier, but it will get back to normal. If your period is very late (more than two weeks), you should buy a pregnancy test and see if you are pregnant. Plan B pills are considered very effective, but there are still chances of getting pregnant, just like with all other contraceptive pills.

Vitamin D3 side effects will be described here. This vitamin is normally found in some foods, like fish, animal meat, dairy products and eggs. It is also found in fortified foods, like breakfast cereals and energy bars. Vitamin D is also added to juices and milk. However, these amounts are not sufficient for the human body to function normally. Vitamin D is actually produced in the body during the sun exposure, and this is the best way to get this important vitamin.

People who live in the cold climates cannot get sufficient amounts of vitamin D. Dark-skinned people are also at risk of getting deficient in vitamin D.

Vitamin D is available in two forms: vitamin D2 and D3. We will tell you more about vitamin D3. This form of vitamin D is considered more effective in treating vitamin D deficiency. Skin conditions like psoriasis and vitiligo are also treated with vitamin D supplements. This condition can result is serious problems, such as rickets in children, osteomalacia in adults, osteoporosis, and chronic fatigue. In some people, long-term deficiency can lead to depression, multiple sclerosis, heart problems and hypertension. People who have severe deficiency are given high doses of vitamin D supplements. In such cases, there can be some side effects.

Side Effects of Vitamin D3

Vitamin D is safe if used in recommended doses. It is unlikely to cause any side effects. However, if taken in large amounts, vitamin D3 supplements can lead to certain side effects, including:

● Sleepiness
● Weakness
● Appetite loss
● Headache
● Fatigue
● Nausea
● Dry mouth
● Vomiting

Long-term use of large doses of vitamin D supplements can result in side effects, such as increase in calcium levels; however, such large doses are used for the short-term treatment.

Vitamin D supplements can be used by pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers. However, you have to talk to your doctor before you start using any supplements.

If you suffer from kidney disease, you must talk to your doctor before taking vitamin D3 supplements.

In patients with atherosclerosis, large doses of vitamin D can worsen this condition.

If you suffer from hyperparathyroidism, you have to be careful with vitamin D supplements.

Vitamin D supplements can be the best way (and for some people, the only way) to get vitamin D. If you live in a country with cold climate conditions, your sun exposure is limited and you will need to use vitamin D supplements.
